Personal Information:

    • Avoid including personal contact details in ad titles or descriptions. Instead, utilize designated fields for such information, as we instructed.

 

Image Guidelines:

    • Upload only clear and accurate photos without additional text or contact details. Images must convey trustworthy information about the advertised product or service.

 

Ad Duplication:

    • Each item should be advertised only once, and each ad should pertain to a single item. Duplicate postings are not allowed to ensure clarity among users.

 

Product Representation:

    • Ensure that advertisements accurately showcase the best features of the item being sold. Workerty.com is a platform for effective product advertising.

 

Sale of Owned Items:

    • Listings should only feature items that the seller currently possesses. Preemptive sales are not permitted.

 

Spam and Prohibited Content:

    • Spamming, including advertisement and keyword spam, is strictly prohibited. The sale of prohibited items such as stolen goods, illegal substances, or adult industry-related products is also forbidden.

 Specific Guidelines:

Special regulations apply to specific categories such as food sales, gaming machines, ticket reselling, and pet sales. Sellers must adhere to relevant laws and guidelines governing these areas.

 

There are regulations regarding the sale of the food section. If your sale intentions belong in these sections, ensure you are thoroughly informed of the FSA's laws and guidelines before posting.

 

A license is required when selling a fruit or gaming machine, even if it is intended for private use and has the payout mechanism disabled. To obtain the necessary license, individuals can contact the Gambling Commission. Sales of such machines are permissible only if the seller provides the license number in the advertisement, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.

Selling Pets Guidelines

  • We don't allow 'wanted' ads in Pets. There are plenty of options to choose from at our site. We will immediately delete any ads that promote and indicate signs of animal cruelty.

 

  • A photograph of the actual animal is essential.

 

  • Before leaving its mother, the animal has to be at least eight weeks old. It also needs to be at least six months old to have a passport.

 

  • It is forbidden to mention breeding, sell animals for breeding, or offer an animal for study. We also don't allow breeding pairs. If breeding equipment is being sold, it must be sold separately.

 

  • Dogs with docked tails and cropped ears aren't allowed, and birds with clipped wings aren't allowed.

 

  • Pregnant animals are off-limits.

 

  • We don't advertise animals with descriptions suitable for work, so do not attempt to post an ad like that.

 

  • We forbid ads regarding selling animals for food.

 

  • Ads promoting fights are restricted, including selling or trading animals for fighting.

 

  • Any references to animals being sold as Christmas or gifts are restricted.

 

Are there any animals that aren't allowed?

Animals that need specialist care and would be exposed to risk if they were taken to someone who isn't experienced and capable enough to handle them are not allowed.

- Botox services are not available on our platform as per guidance from MHRA, and the sale of prescription drugs is prohibited.

- Ads must not discriminate based on age, gender, religion, sexuality, race, etc.

- Ads promoting illegal or immoral activities are not permitted.

- Financial services such as offering or requesting loans, as well as currency exchange, are prohibited.

- Ads offering financial services must include a valid business email address and landline number.

- Insurance companies are restricted from advertising due to the inability to verify FSAA status.
